				<div class="et_pb_text_inner"><p>L’aventure <b>Bake Off Vlaanderen</b> a été un beau cadeau pour l’année 2020. Je m’y suis inscrit sans trop y croire, sur base d’un « Allez, soyons fou ». JAMAIS je n’aurais pu imaginer que j’avance dans la procédure de sélections et, surtout, que je sois sélectionné parmi les 10 candidats de la saison 4.</p>
<p>Vous l’avez peut-être vu à l’écran, mais mes yeux étaient remplis d’émerveillement lors des premiers pas dans la tente. Passer du rêve à la réalité est un sentiment bien particulier. Je crois que j’ai réalisé que j’avais participé à cette aventure étonnante lorsque je me suis vu pour la première fois sur mon écran de télévision. En effet, lors des enregistrements, je me suis donné à fond à chaque instant, et c’est sans doute pour cela que je semblais très concentré à l’écran. Mes idées et recettes étaient ambitieuses. Très ambitieuses. Trop peut-être, car j’ai toujours placé le goût avant la décoration. Cela a payé dans les saveurs, mais il ne me restait que trop peu de temps pour mettre l’accent sur les finitions.</p>
<p>Des regrets? Aucun. L’aventure m’a permis d’avancer, de me confronter à mes limites et de les dépasser. J’ai aussi pris confiance car Regula Ysewijn et Herman Van Dender, deux professionnels tout de même, n’ont cessé de me complimenter sur mes goûts, mes risques et mes saveurs, au point que j’en ai reçu le surnom de « smakenmeester », autrement dit le « maitre des saveurs ». Quel compliment ! Je n’ai cessé depuis cet instant de cuisiner/pâtisser, repoussant les défis les uns après les autres. Mon visuel est aujourd’hui bien plus abouti, bien plus précis et bien plus joli qu’il ne l’était il y a encore quelques petits mois. L’émission m’a donné ce déclic qu’il me fallait pour avancer, pour prendre confiance en moi et pour oser oser.</p>
<p>L’épreuve technique que j’ai préférée sous la tente est celle de la fleur au fromage (Kaasbloem). Est-ce parce que j’y suis arrivé premier ? Ca joue un peu, mais c’est surtout parce qu’on pouvait y préparer un plat salé, que j’adore aussi. Et puis, il y avait de la pâte à choux 😀</p>
<p>Je vous livre donc ici la recette de cette épreuve technique qui m’a énormément plu, car elle allie le goût, l’originalité et la décoration, et ce en toute simplicité.</p>
<p>Quand le croquant de la pâte sablée rencontre la légèreté de la pâte à choux, qu&rsquo;on y ajoute le côté épicé du curry et qu&rsquo;on termine avec une crème au fromage aussi bien réconfortante que fraîche grâce aux herbes qu&rsquo;on y met, qu&rsquo;obtient-on? Une magnifique et délicieuse fleur gourmande.</p>
